leave them be, its just like nu-metal is wasn’t metal it was just a load of corprate spunk monkeys running around with wanky distortion on, just like now the corprate spunk monkeys are running around with wanky synth sounds,

you know you loved the corprate dick in your mouth when you were 14, pussie-punk-rock, emo, nu-metal, glam rock (for the older ravers), or now the fluro glo-stick ravers who’s gigs end at 11pm, we all loved corprate cock at some point

Dj’s can get done as well, as rig owners can just wander away from the rig while its going an if things turn nasty they jus look like everyone else, the dj looks like the main suspect, there were a few dj’s that got asbo’s last year, if the rig owners dnt mind losing there equipment they can usually get away scott free (minus a few £100’s worth of amps & speakers)

If you were in the police and it was your job to stop raves (ie The TVP anti rave squad) squatjucie would be the most useful resourse for constantly updating information, of who was doin parties, where parties where happening, what rugs are most popular, if theres much voilence

its all written there, which is why people are very untrusting of new members or anyone lookin for partylines,

if i was ob an i wante dto find out about raves, id go undercover on sj

indoor parties, they feel like they last a lot longer and if your dancing all night you have no idea what the time is if its dark inside, an exploring old buildings is always fun

i did like the old way of taking a building in between lets (went to a couple last year), its really nice being in a huge modern building patying away, ne one go to sunday service this year what a location, but they get trashed and im sure the damage done is in the 1,000s if no tens of thousands

outdoor parties are good but i tend to spend to much time walking about sittin in cars rarther than dancing

and both scenes seem to be equally sketchy at the moment, only eva been attacked at an outdoor party but i stay out of dark corners and such at indoor parties

u run risks of being beaten or jacked or taking dodgy drugs at both but where would the excitement be with out that??

We’re also hopfully doing a night in the junction on the 2nd Feb. Meltown- what do you reckon it needs to get a good night in that place? Whats the system like (haven’t been there since Warnings in 1998!).

the systems ok, they always have more speakers for the club nights (although its no louder due to sound restrictions) dnt know if they are the junctions own speakers or if the’re brought in

its a good space tho always get a nice sound

an on the friday night side of things :weee: finialy bogie wonder land (the biggest disco night in the uk) has died an the music of fridays has been brought forward 20 years and now has quite a good line up each week

private party’s have died down a bit although there a couple of new crews comin in (inc mine when we’ve built the system) so im sure next summer will be as noisy as ever

any one know if fulborn warehouse is still goin on, herd the’d shut down (an havn’t been there for 6months or more) was a wicked location an on every fri & sat didnt usually play my kind of music tho

also the junction has stepped up its game a bit with new club nights on fridays an Warning (monthly) is fucking wicked its still a shit venue tho

just generaly check out the man on the moon, portland arms & cellar bar 8 for decent music, fez & po na na have more comercial stuff on but can be alright

yeah it was one of the new tens licences, i didnt know about it till the night an was battered by the time i got there so i didnt think about asking, ill ask next time i c the boys,

i know they talked to the local concil to get the licence, it was a birthday party not just a random event so im sure that helped,

it was on farm land with agreement from the owners, and if you could be arsed to walk 15mins i think you were allowed to use their toilet:wink:

i doubt the cops wud have busted it anyway as it was well out of the way the nearest village has the all night drone of the A10 an near by M11 so they cudnt hear it an could only just be heard from the next village in the other direction but better safe than sorry

i think more and more of these will be popping up although they did have a scare of the licence being revoked at the last minute (probably heard they were playin psy trance) an ive heard of other events having their licence taken back at the last minute, usually health & safety because of fire hazzods
